     This wonderful little book with its charming, childlike illustrations will touch the heart of anyone who has ever been owned by a "forever dog", that special animal who shares our physical world for a few short years but never leaves us in spirit.

From time to time, when a certain person and a certain dog meet, something happens that is just like magic! It is as if they have known each other before. Each knows what the other is thinking and feeling. They will be together always. And the guardian angel watches over the two with love, knowing their dog has found its forever person and the person has found its forever dog

     The hard part of sharing our lives with companion animals is that they don't live as long as we do. We not only experience grief with their passing, but often have to face our loss with little real empathy from the people around us. This book lets us know we are not alone.
