Avoiding Trouble Crates & Gates |
||||||
|
Wire crates are good for temporary use because most fold down for storage. They're also good for dog car travel because they don't block the dog's view. However, they are not acceptable for airline travel and they don't provide the den-like feel that a closed crate does. For puppies and small dogs, you can use a gate to keep them out of trouble when you're not around to supervise. Unfortunately, gates are not much use for cats or dogs who jump.
